If you need help, please contact your rostering team.

Troubleshooting

I forgot my password, can I reset it?

Choose ‘Forgotten your password?’ on the login page.

It says 'User Already Exists', what does that mean?

You may have used Loop before. Try logging in with that email instead, and change your password if you no longer remember it.

Do I have to add my phone number?

No, this is optional.

If I sign up with my phone number, can others see it?

No, your number is not visible to colleagues.

I’m getting errors when connecting to my organisation.

  1. If it indicates that your login name is wrong, ensure you enter the login name provided by your organisation. Do not enter in your Loop login name (email) at the Connect to Organisation stage, as this is not what is required in this field.
  2. If it indicates that your password is wrong, make sure you enter in the temporary password provided by your organisation. This may be different to the password that you have set up for Loop.
  3. If it says you already have an external ID, this means you may have used Loop or one of our other products in the past (Me app, eCommunity, RP11) and are connected to the organisation with a different email address. If you can remember which email this is, log in with that email (and use ‘Forgot Password’ if required). Otherwise, reach out to your rostering team who can take a look at your account in Optima.
  4. If it says you are already connected, you may have connected in an area of bad signal and the process timed out. If you try to connect again, since you are already connected the organisation won’t show in the dropdown. Try logging out and in again to resolve it

I connected, but my groups, pages or newsfeed are blank.

Loop needs an overnight sync in order for these to show. Please contact your rostering team if this is still not showing after the sync, as it may be an access issue.

I connected, but I cannot see my roster.

There are a few things that could cause this.

  1. Your organisation hasn’t given you access to view the roster.
  2. You connected in an area of bad signal, try logging out and in again.
  3. There was an issue with your connection, try disconnecting and reconnecting again.

See this video on how to disconnect your organisation:

I’m getting an 'Oops, something went wrong' error.

This usually means your device is blocking cookies. You will need to allow this in the browser settings.

Using Loop

How long will I stay logged in for?

The app will log you out after 15 days of inactivity, and with regular use it will keep you logged in for 90 days, at which point you will need to log in again.

I’m leaving my organisation, do I need a new Loop account?

In most cases your Loop ID can stay the same, and simply add your new organisation to your account. Reach out to your rostering team for further information on their organisation processes.

Can I mute notifications?

Yes. You can either:

  • Mute a specific group by selecting the three dots in the top right of that group and choosing your quiet hours,

or

  • Turn off Loop notifications completely in your phone’s settings.

Can I have more than one organisation on my Loop account?

Yes. Go to the building icon on the top left of the menu page, select the + icon, choose your organisation from the dropdown, and enter the organisation’s linking credentials.
Watch this video here:

How do I switch between organisations?

Go to the Calendar page, select the two rectangle icon in the top right, then choose the organisation you want to view. Your calendar and rostering features will update to match that organisation.

Watch this video here:

Can I change my name in Loop?

Yes, you will need to go to the desktop version select the profile image in the top right corner. Select Settings> Account Settings> General Information.

Can I export my roster to my personal calendar?

Yes. On the web version of Loop, go to your Personal Roster, select View and share your roster calendar on other devices, and generate the iCalendar link. You can then add this link to your personal calendar.

You can also import your personal calendar into Loop. On mobile, go to the Calendar section, tap the calendar icon in the top right, and paste your personal calendar’s iCalendar link to view both calendars together.

If you cannot see these options, your organisation may not have enabled the access to do so.

I  cannot see any bank shifts?

Loop will only display bank shifts that you are eligible to work, if there are none visible, please contact your rostering team who can advise further.

Why do I see words like 'Float shifts' instead of 'Bank'?

This indicates your phone is not set to UK locale.

  1. Go to the ‘Menu’ page
  2. Choose the settings cog in the right-hand corner
  3. Select Settings and Privacy
  4. Select ‘Languages’ and change the language to ‘English (UK)’

I think my leave entitlement is incorrect. Who do I contact?

Your leave entitlement is managed by your organisation. Please contact your rostering team within your organisation.

Can I see if my teammates are on leave when I book mine?

If your organisation has enabled it, yes. When requesting leave, enter your dates and reason, then select Other Staff Leave to view how many colleagues are off that week and see more detail if needed.

How do I report abuse or bullying?

You can report a post by selecting Report Post on the content.

To report anything not linked to a post, go to Menu, select the Settings cog, then choose Report.

Can’t find what you are looking for? Please contact your Loop representative and they will be able to help you.

Not sure who your Loop representative is? They will be part of your rostering team, so please reach out to them.
